Emeryville, CA. - September 10, 2004 - Nanomix, Incorporated, today confirmed the appointment of Robert Dennis Esq., as Intellectual Property Counsel to lead the company’s activities related to intellectual property, licensing, trademarks and collaborative agreements. In this position, Mr. Dennis will report to David Macdonald, President and CEO of Nanomix.

Robert has over 18 years of legal experience, 7 years of which are in the patent arena covering US and foreign patent applications, claims, amendments and prosecution. Most recently Robert has been a Patent Consultant for Innovation Law Group, Ltd. Prior to that he served as Patent Counsel for Intuitive Surgical, Inc., in Sunnyvale, CA where he was responsible for 30 issued patents and 42 filed applications. Robert holds a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, a JD from Golden Gate University and a BA in Biological Science from University of California at Berkeley.
