<body>Nanomix is a leading nanotechnology company launching a menu of devices based on Sensation detection technology. These scaleable, nanoelectronic devices use ultra-sensitive carbon nanotube sensing elements combined with proprietary chemistry. These devices can be deployed across a broad range of industrial and medical applications where the attributes of nanotechnology - low power consumption, small size, and high sensitivity offer significant performance advantages and enable unprecedented access to critical information. Nanomix is pursuing product lines in different categories; Industrial Detection Devices, Medical Breath Analysis Devices and Bio Detection Devices.</body></p>

<p><H2>Position Summary</H2><br />
<body>The scientist will be responsible for applying the principles of biochemical engineering to research and solve problems involving the implementation of nanotechnology based biological sensors.</body></p>

<p><H2>Position Accountabilities</H2><br />
<body>Research literature, explore collaborations to leverage technology into Nanomix sensor products. Develop processes and identify equipment for product transfer to manufacturing utilizing principles and technology of chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, engineering and related physical and natural sciences. Plan and execute verification protocols to quantify product specifications. Collaborate with manufacturing functions in supporting customer. Write/review reports, proposals, invention disclosure, and patent applications.</body></p>

<p><H2>Minimum Education & Position Requirements</H2><br />
<body>Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (or foreign equivalent*) in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field in engineering, physical and natural sciences and two (2) years experience in the job offered or as a Researcher.  Also requires proficiency using design and development software (SolidWorks, LabView); experience with laboratory equipment and testing approaches, and machine shop equipment.<br />
