Position Summary
This position offers the opportunity to work in a high technology environment with an R&D team to grow a business with exciting prospects. The position reports to the Vice-President of Platform Development and will contribute to a variety of product development activities.


Position Accountabilities
The NanoDevice Engineer serves as a member of the R&D team and contributes to the development of Nanomix’s core technology involving carbon nanotube based semiconductor devices. These devices provide a versatile platform for use in a variety of molecular detection applications. This position is critical to driving the Company's product development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work with R&D team to understand and define product requirements;
  • Contribute to development of carbon nanotube based semiconductor devices
  • Work with outside vendors to facilitate process transfer
    Position Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or other relevant physical science
  • Experience with fabrication/characterization of nanodevices
  • Industrial experiences on fabrication and manufacture of semiconductor devices
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills

    In addition, the following qualifications and skills are desired:

  • Experience working within a Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Medical Device Company
  • Experience with project management
  • Exposure to regulated product development (FDA/CE).
  • Experience in commercial product development.

    Education/Certifications:
    Ph.D. in Materials Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or other relevant physical science.
