Position Summary

This is a hands-on position responsible for production and process engineering of carbon nanotube based platforms. Working closely with the Development team, this position will accept product transfer from R&D into manufacturing. The position is responsible for maintaining and improving CVD processing capabilities in an ISO Certified manufacturing environment for medical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and documentation of process improvements, as well as perform critical operations repeatedly, without variation
  • Coordinate MEMS photolithography with in-house R&D and outsourced contract foundries
  • Analyze data and implement process improvements
  • Hands-on CNT processing using CVD furnace for production wafers and supporting R&D development wafer processing
  • Supervise maintenance of processing equipment
  • Supervise Wafer Processing Technicians


    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS


    Minimum Education:

    BS Degree in Engineering or Physics

    Background/Experience:


    Industry Experience:


  • 5+ years of direct experience with CVD processing of carbon nanotubes
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and process improvements in a CNT/CVD environment
  • Experience in an ISO or FDA regulated environment preferred


    Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with semiconductor and/or MEMS processing
  • Familiarity with semiconductor chemicals, and the associated procedures, disposal, and safety issues
  • Experience with:
    - Wet chemistry
    - SEM, AFM, IR, UV and other characterization methods
  • Experience with Labview is a plus
