Targeting as little as 5 microliters of whole blood or other body fluids with minimal treatment, Nanōmix’s Sensation technology is aimed at breaking the performance barrier of today’s point-of-care diagnostics.

Nanōmix is at the forefront of a major global transformation in how healthcare is delivered. As the world’s population continues to age, the growth of chronic disease such as cardiovascular illness, cancer and severe infections are outpacing the burdensome and inefficient model of centralized healthcare services. As a result, healthcare delivery is becoming more decentralized and widely accessible, moving from hospitals to clinics, physician’s offices, pharmacies and the home. Decentralization improves uniformity of healthcare standards across rural and urban areas and lowers costs by moving to more streamlined and efficient programs.

Our vision is about providing a practical, inexpensive central lab on a chip that can rapidly deliver the full range of lab tests with sensitivity and accuracy — making healthcare accessible to patients anywhere.

The initial product in development by Nanōmix is for diagnosis of myocardial infarction. Omega-3 will provide first responders, remote healthcare workers and emergency rooms physicians with the capability to quantitatively measure cardiac troponin levels along with other critical cardiac biomarkers with the sensitivity and precision of CLIA lab based systems.
