The Nanōmix Technology Access Program
Program Overview
The Nanōmix Sensation™ platform consists of a
detector chip with an array of individually addressable carbon
nanotube network detection elements, each potentially
capable of being independently functionalized or coated with a
variety of techniques. This chip features state-of-the-art
performance in a tiny package that consumes very little power.
The platform enables research and product development in
molecular level phenomena related to chemical reactions and
catalysis, chemical and biological detection, and photonics.
The use of random networks of carbon nanotubes provides
scalability of the manufacturing process. Nanōmix has already
manufactured over 1 million detection chips to date, and
operates on the wafer scale enabling high volume production.
- Flexible, adaptable, expandable
- Cost effective, scalable, high volume production
- Replaces expensive, special purpose instruments and
biochips
- High performance – optimal sensitivity and selectivity
- Direct electronic detection
- Disposable applications
- Designed for use in gas and liquid/biological detection
environments
Partnerships
Consider leveraging Nanōmix’ expertise in detector design and development by exploring a mutually
beneficial business partnership or scientific collaboration.
- We offer a Starter Kit package and subsequent supply packages to qualified customers. A Material
Transfer Agreement is required.
- Agreements to customize the standard platform to specific criteria are possible. For more
information, please contact Nanōmix.
Applications
Single walled nanotube (SWNT) based field-effect transistors have excellent operating characteristics and have
already been explored for highly sensitive electronic detection of gases and biomolecules such as antibodies. This
approach eliminates the necessity of DNA labeling with fluorescent labels. Other potential applications include:
- A wide range of gas detection such as H2, CO2, H2S and more
- Development of point-of-care high value diagnosis and monitoring
- Nucleic acid, protein, glucose and other bio molecule detection
- Combinatorial chemistry tools & detection arrays used in health care diagnostics
Chips may be used to perform a variety of measurements, including impedance and capacitance. The standard “off-the-shelf” (non-functionalized) Sensation™ platform is available to qualified customers. For more information on
technical specifications, architecture, or performance, please contact us. |
